  • batch job - ressources predefined and delegated execution of a sequence of programs/commands on a cluster
  • bwHPC - Baden-Württemberg's high performance computing
  • bwUniCluster - Baden-Württemberg's university/universal cluster
  • bwForCluster - Baden-Württemberg's research (in German "Forschung") cluster

  • cluster - short for compute cluster

  • ForHLR - in German "Forschungshochleistungsrechner", i.e., research high performance compute cluster

  • Moab - commercial workload managing software used on all HPC clusters
  • module - refers to environment module file (system)
