The following changes will be introduced during the maintenance interval between on 28.03.2022 (Monday) 08:00 and 31.03.2022 (Thursday) 16:00.

Hardware

• All firmware versions on all components will be upgraded

Operating system

• The operating system version will be based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.4.

• The Mellanox OFED InfiniBand Stack will be upgraded

Batch system

• An upgrade of Slurm is being evaluated

Storage

• The Lustre file system client will be upgraded

• The Spectrum Scale file system client will be upgraded

Graphics stack

• The NVIDIA driver will be upgraded

Containers

• Enroot will be upgraded

• Singularity will be upgraded
