BinAC

The bwForCluster BinAC supports researchers from the broader fields of Bioinformatics, Medical Informatics, Pharmacy, Geosciences and Astrophysics.

BinAC 1 is end of life

BinAC 1 will be completely shut down 31.10.2025. 01.08.2025 User registration for BinAC 1 will be closed. No new user accounts can be created on BinAC 1 after this date. Please use BinAC 2. 30.09.2025: Shutdown of compute nodes on BinAC 1. All batch jobs must be completed by this date. No further job execution will be possible afterward. 31.10.2025: Final shutdown of storage on BinAC 1. Please ensure that you have migrated all necessary data to BinAC 2 before this date. After 31.10.2025, data stored on BinAC 1 will no longer be accessible.

BinAC 1 -> BinAC 2 Migration

Users of BinAC 1 must re-register for BinAC 2 (only step C necessary). You keep your existing projects (Rechenvorhaben). Migrate BinAC 1 workspaces to BinAC 2 workspaces Migrate Moab/Torque to Slurm jobs
