A Network License is a license that you receive or borrow from a server that has a certain number of licenses. While you use the license, nobody else can use this license. When you stop using the program, the license is returned to the server and can be borrowed by someone else. If the number of free licenses on the server reaches zero, no additional user can use the program until one of the other users stops using the software and returns the license to the server.
