Get SDS@hd Entitlement
New SVs can only be opened by bwIDM members who have the sds-hd-sv entitlement from their home university. This entitlement may have to be applied for individually at the home organisation. The criteria for awarding the entitlement to a user are entirely up to the respective home organization
To see if you already have the needed entitlement, you can check your entitlements.
If you need the entitlement, follow the instructions for your home university. If none are provided, please contact your local service desk.
- Universität Freiburg
- Employees of the University of need to fill out this form.
- Universität Heidelberg
- Employees of Heidelberg University receive this entitlement automatically. Students can't receive it.
- Universität Mannheim
- Employees of the University of Mannheim receive this entitlement automatically. Students can't receive it.
- Universität Ulm
- Please contact the helpdesk. See https://www.uni-ulm.de/einrichtungen/kiz/service-katalog/beratung-schulung-hilfe/helpdesk/
Check your Entitlements
- Log in to https://bwservices.uni-heidelberg.de
- Go to "Index" -> "Personal Data"
- Choose the "Shibboleth" tab
- Search for the following entry: http://bwidm.de/entitlement/sds-hd-sv (this is an attribute and not a link)
If you can find it, you already have the needed entitlement.
